About Thin Lips

Some people are fortunate to be born with perfectly shaped, full lips. Others are born with naturally thin or unevenly full lips. Ageing also changes the shape of the lips and mouth, as the skin, fat and muscle of the area thin, and as structural support for the lips diminishes with age related bone loss. Over time vertical lines often appear above and below the lips, and the corners of the mouth can begin to droop.
