Limelight Photo Rejuvenation

In Australia we’re luck to have sunshine through most of the year but the matter of the truth is that the sun is our biggest villain against young skin. That is because exposure to the sunlight leads to excessive production of melanin causing our skin to attract pigment and thus giving us an older appearance. But now, thanks to laser technology we can slow down the ageing process by removing brown or red spots on our skin thus giving it a luminous, plumped look.

What is Limelight?

Our Limelight Photo Rejuvenation facial is a non-invasive treatment for the rejuvenation of the face by the use of IPL laser beams. The light is absorbed by the skin and the pigmented areas start to lift up which then flake off

What does Limelight treat?

The Limelight Rejuvenation Facial is one of the best lasers for the treatment of brown or red pigmentation on the skin, which can make us look older. It can be used on any sun-damaged area of the body such as the face, décolletage, neck, hands, arms, legs and back. The laser works by heating the pigmented areas, which will then raise to the surface of the skin and flake off.

How many sessions would I need to get good results?

It will depend on each person’s skin but we usually recommend at least 4 sessions, 3-4 weeks apart. Remember that with all our pre-paid course of treatments of $650 or over you can use our MyFace Payment plan to pay for it in monthly payments with No interest and No credit application.

Can Limelight be combined with other treatments?

Yes, definitely. Since rejuvenation involves several aspects such as brightening, surface, collagen and reduced muscle activity we can combine the Limelight with Microdermabrasion, Medi peels and anti-wrinkle injections for a more comprehensive approach.
Home care is also important and SkinMedica’s Lytera Brightening system is the perfect complement for the Limelight Rejuv Facial as it will help you improve the results and maintain. Obviously sun protection is also very important to avoid the brown pigmentation to form on the skin again.
